I wondered at times if Harry had ulterior motives for this marriage and “escaping” the monarchy now appears to be rather obvious! Not to give him too much credit for calculation… but he did not hesitate to bail for the USA and, as you say, he is going nowhere.

I think both of their 'ulterior motives' are playing out perfectly for them, together
